01 -
Get your oven hot at 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan with butter so your bread won't stick.
02 -
Grab a bowl and smash those bananas with a fork until they're totally mushy. Pour in your melted butter and mix everything together.
03 -
Toss in the baking soda and a tiny bit of salt, then dump in the sugar, whisked egg, and vanilla. Lastly, fold in the flour just until it's mixed in.
04 -
Dump your mixture into the buttered pan and even out the top. Pop it in your hot oven for about 55 to 65 minutes. It's done when you can stick a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
05 -
Take your bread out and let it sit in the pan for a bit. Then move it to a wire rack until it's totally cool before you cut it. You can keep it wrapped up at room temp for 4 days, or stick it in the fridge or freezer if you want it to last longer.
