Effortless Honey Soy Cod (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Two cod fillets, about 5-6 oz each.
02 - 1 teaspoon of fresh minced ginger.
03 - 1 teaspoon of minced garlic.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
05 - 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar.
06 - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
07 - 2 tablespoons of honey.
08 - 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
09 - 1 tablespoon of chopped green onions.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine honey, sesame seeds, soy sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, and vinegar in a mixing bowl.
02 - Dry the fillets with paper towels. Spread a tablespoon of the sauce on top and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
03 - Move the rack towards the top. Turn the broiler to low heat. Prep a baking sheet with parchment paper.
04 - Cook under the broiler on low for about 12-14 minutes, basting with the sauce every so often. For color, switch to high for 4-5 minutes until golden.
05 - Carefully transfer the fillets to serving plates and sprinkle with green onion slices to finish.

# Notes:

01 - Swap rice vinegar for lime juice if you'd like.
02 - This works with other mild white fish like sea bass or halibut.
03 - You can grill or pan-cook instead of broiling.
