Velvety Red Gooey Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/4 cups regular flour.
02 - 2 cups white sugar.
03 - 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa.
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt.
06 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese.
07 - 4 tablespoons soft unsalted butter.
08 - 1 large egg.
09 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla.
10 - 1 tablespoon red food dye.
11 - 1/2 cup icing sugar.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir all dry stuff together.
02 - Mix butter and cream cheese until fluffy.
03 - Stir in egg, vanilla, and red coloring.
04 - Fold in your dry mixture.
05 - Let dough rest in fridge at least 2 hours.
06 - Scoop and roll balls in icing sugar.
07 - Cook in 350°F oven about 10-12 mins.
08 - Put on racks to cool fully.

01 - Dough needs cooling time.
02 - Don't use cold ingredients.
03 - Thick gel coloring gives best results.
04 - Fresh for up to 3 days.
