Heat up a large pot on medium and let the butter melt completely.

Put in your sliced cabbage and mix it with the melted butter.

Cook it for about 5 minutes until it starts to wilt a bit.

Toss the sugar over your cabbage and mix everything together.

Pour in the balsamic vinegar and wait until it begins to bubble.

Turn down the heat, put the lid on and cook between 30-45 minutes.

Give it a stir every now and then until soft but still has some bite.

Add salt and pepper how you like it.
