Braised Sweet Sour Cabbage (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons butter.
02 - 1/2 large red cabbage, cut into slices.
03 - 2 tablespoons sugar.
04 - 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar.
05 - Kosher salt.
06 - Black pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up a large pot on medium and let the butter melt completely.
02 - Put in your sliced cabbage and mix it with the melted butter.
03 - Cook it for about 5 minutes until it starts to wilt a bit.
04 - Toss the sugar over your cabbage and mix everything together.
05 - Pour in the balsamic vinegar and wait until it begins to bubble.
06 - Turn down the heat, put the lid on and cook between 30-45 minutes.
07 - Give it a stir every now and then until soft but still has some bite.
08 - Add salt and pepper how you like it.
