Mix your sliced peaches with 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a pot and mix thoroughly.

Warm over medium heat until sugar melts and peaches release their juice. Take off the heat and put aside.

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut butter into pieces and put in a 9x13 inch glass dish. Stick the dish in while the oven warms up so butter melts.

Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a big bowl. Add milk and stir just enough to blend everything.

After butter has melted, take the dish out and pour your batter all over the butter, making sure it's spread out evenly.

Drop spoonfuls of peaches with their juice over the batter. Shake plenty of cinnamon on top.

Pop it in for 38-40 minutes until it turns golden brown. It's best served warm, maybe with some ice cream on the side if you want.
