Beef Noodles Sweet Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb Ground Meat (Turkey, pork or chicken work just as well).
02 - 12 oz Noodles (Try angel hair or ribbon pasta too).
03 - 2 cups Cooking liquid, saved when draining the pasta.
04 - 4-5 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped.
05 - 1 tsp Ginger Paste (or 1 teaspoon ginger powder).
06 - 1/4 cup Soy Sauce.
07 - 1/4 cup Brown Sugar.
08 - 1 pinch Chili flakes (skip if you don't want heat).
09 - 3 tbsp Hoisin Sauce.
10 - 1/2 tsp Fresh Ground pepper.
11 - 1 tbsp Cornstarch.
12 - 2 tbsp Cool Water.
13 - 2-3 Green Onions, chopped (add as topping if you want).
14 - 1-2 tsp Sesame Seeds (sprinkle on top if you'd like).

# Instructions:

01 - Get your pasta going in some salty boiling water. Give it a good stir now and then so it doesn't stick together. Cook till it's got a bit of bite left. Remember to keep 2 cups of water before you drain them.
02 - Put your skillet on medium heat and cook the ground meat with the chopped garlic. Enjoy that smell while they cook. If there's too much fat, drain some off to keep things from getting greasy.
03 - Add your ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, hoisin, and pepper. Mix everything really well with the meat so the flavors cover every bit.
04 - Mix up water and cornstarch in a small bowl till smooth. Pour this into your meat and let it bubble for a minute or two. You'll see the sauce get nice and thick.
05 - Pour in 1 cup of the saved pasta water and add your cooked noodles. Stir everything together so the sauce coats all the pasta. If you want it looser, just add more of that pasta water.
06 - Throw on some chopped green onions and sesame seeds if you want, then dig in while it's hot. Every bite's gonna be great!

# Notes:

01 - You can switch up the meat with whatever you've got on hand - chicken, turkey or pork all taste awesome in this dish.
02 - Want more kick? Just toss in extra chili flakes. Less heat? Skip 'em completely.
03 - If you like your sauce really clingy, just mix a bit more cornstarch with cold water and stir it in.
