03 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
06 - 2 pounds small carrots.

# Instructions:

01 - Put the carrots into a slow cooker, spreading them out evenly over the bottom.
02 - Scatter cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar over the carrots, mixing to coat everything well.
03 - Drizzle the maple syrup over the seasoned carrots and mix again to combine.
04 - Evenly spread the coated carrots across the bottom for uniform cooking.
05 - Place the small cubes of butter on top of the carrots, spreading them out evenly.
06 - Put the lid on the slow cooker and pick a temperature based on how much time you've got.
07 - Let it cook for 3 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low until carrots are tender.
08 - Give the carrots a stir once or twice during cooking if you can for even glazing.
09 - Remove the lid and cook for 30 more minutes on high for an extra glaze.
10 - Or move the carrots to a separate bowl and cover them to keep warm.
11 - Pour the leftover liquid into a saucepan and bring to a simmer on medium-high heat.
12 - Stir constantly as it cooks down into a thicker glaze, which takes about 5 minutes.
13 - Pour the finished glaze back over the carrots and stir them until evenly coated.
14 - Taste and tweak the seasonings as needed before serving.
15 - Dish the carrots up warm. Add a sprinkle of fresh herbs if you'd like.
