Cracker Toffee (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans or pick your favorite topping.
02 - 48 Saltine crackers (1 sleeve).
03 - 2 cups minis of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
04 - 1 cup of brown sugar.
05 - 1 cup cubed butter.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F, then line a pan with foil and spritz with cooking spray.
02 - Spread out the crackers snugly in a single layer on the lined pan.
03 - Combine butter and brown sugar in a pot; let it simmer for 3 minutes until golden caramel forms.
04 - Drizzle the caramel over the crackers and make sure it coats them evenly.
05 - Pop it in the oven for about 7-8 minutes until it gets bubbly.
06 - Toss the chocolate chips on the fresh-from-the-oven caramel layer.
07 - Wait until the chocolate melts, then smooth it out evenly.
08 - Sprinkle chopped nuts or your fave toppings on top.
09 - Place into the fridge for at least 2 hours until it's all firm.
10 - Snap into pieces and enjoy with friends or family!
