Hot Honey Pepperoni Ricotta Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 1 ball pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
02 - All-purpose flour or fine cornmeal, for dusting

→ Toppings

03 - 120 ml tomato sauce or pizza sauce
04 - 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 60 g whole milk ricotta cheese, dolloped
06 - 20–25 thin slices pepperoni
07 - 15–30 ml hot honey
08 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
09 - Red pepper flakes, for extra heat (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 260°C. Place a pizza stone or heavy baking sheet inside and allow to heat for at least 30 minutes. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 30 cm round.
02 - Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1.5 cm border. Distribute shredded mozzarella across the surface. Layer pepperoni slices over the cheese, then dollop ricotta in small spoonfuls around the pizza.
03 - Carefully transfer the prepared pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and golden and the cheese is bubbling with browned spots.
04 - Drizzle hot honey directly over the freshly baked pizza. Garnish with basil leaves and sprinkle with red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Allow the oven and stone to fully preheat for better crust texture. Adjust hot honey quantity based on desired heat.
