Goat Cheese Honey Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling and Finish

02 - 115 g goat cheese log
03 - Honey, for drizzling
04 - Fresh thyme, chopped, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets to slightly flatten. Using a 5 cm round cutter, cut circles from the dough.
03 - Arrange pastry circles on prepared sheets. Press a thumb into the center of each to create a shallow well.
04 - Spoon approximately 15 g goat cheese into the indentation of each pastry round.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until pastry is golden brown.
06 - Remove from oven. Drizzle each bite with about 2 ml honey and sprinkle with chopped fresh thyme. Serve warm.

01 - Ensure puff pastry remains chilled until use to achieve a flaky texture.
02 - For sharper flavor, use a tangy goat cheese variety.
