Garlic Butter Baked Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 salmon fillets (approximately 170 grams each)
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
04 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
07 - 1 teaspoon lemon zest
08 - 1 tablespoon honey
09 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
10 - 1 lemon, thinly sliced
11 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking tray with foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
02 - Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared tray. Season each fillet with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
03 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, and chopped parsley until well combined.
04 - Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, ensuring each is thoroughly coated.
05 - Arrange lemon slices on top and around the salmon fillets. Sprinkle with dried thyme for added aroma, if using.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Adjust time based on fillet thickness.
07 - Remove salmon from the oven and allow it to rest for several minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Allowing the salmon to rest briefly after baking helps retain moisture and improves texture.
