Christmas Slush (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Fresh cranberries for decoration.
02 - Some orange slices to garnish.
03 - 4 liters of cherry-flavored lemon-lime soda, like Cherry 7-Up™.
04 - Two cans of frozen lemonade concentrate (12 ounces each).
05 - 3 cups of orange juice.
06 - 5 cups of cranberry juice.
07 - 1 1/2 cups (300g) of regular sugar.
08 - 4 cups of plain water.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn up the heat to high on a big pot. Add water and sugar, giving it a stir now and then for around 3-5 minutes until the sugar melts completely.
02 - Take the pot off the heat. Stir in the orange juice, cranberry juice, and lemonade concentrate until the concentrate is fully melted. This makes about 4 quarts of liquid.
03 - Let the mixture cool all the way down. Once it’s cool, transfer to a big container that can go in the freezer and has a secure lid. Freeze it overnight.
04 - Use a fork to scrape and break apart the frozen mixture into chunks. Scoop around 1 cup of slush into a low glass, then pour cherry soda on top. Decorate with orange slices and cranberries before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Yields about 4 quarts of the prepared base.
02 - Needs to freeze for a night.
03 - You can make it several days early.
