Effortless Breakfast Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 to 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
02 - 6 to 10 eggs, large size.
03 - Two cups of milk.
04 - Six slices stale bread, cut into cubes.
05 - Add salt as you like.
06 - Add some pepper to suit your taste.
07 - Half a cup of chopped-up broccoli (optional).
08 - One cup of ham chunks or cooked sausage (optional).
09 - Quarter cup of thinly sliced green onions (optional).
10 - Half a cup of thinly sliced mushrooms (optional).
11 - A cup of corn kernels, if you'd like (optional).
12 - Three pieces of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional).
13 - One teaspoon of Herbes de Provence if you have it (optional).
14 - Cumin or curry powder, about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on and set it to 350°F.
02 - Crack the eggs into a big bowl and beat them. Stir in cheese and milk. Afterward, toss in the bread cubes and mix until everything's absorbed.
03 - Mix in your favorite add-ins along with salt and pepper. If needed, break more eggs and add them to ensure everything gets covered.
04 - Grease a 9x13-inch casserole pan with butter and pour the mixture inside.
05 - Put the dish in the oven and bake for 50-60 minutes. The top should brown, and the middle should bounce back when you touch it.
06 - Set it aside for 10 minutes to cool down before slicing and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Adding more eggs creates a thicker texture.
02 - Pre-cook mushrooms to dry them out.
03 - Assemble this ahead; works great the next day.
04 - Fresh bread? Dry it at 200°F for 10 minutes.
