Marshmallow Sweet Potato Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 big sweet potatoes.
02 - 1 cup packed brown sugar.
03 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
08 - 10 ounces tiny marshmallows.

# Instructions:

01 - Chop peeled sweet potatoes and boil them until soft.
02 - Squash potatoes completely.
03 - Stir together the melted butter, sugar, and spices.
04 - Put mixture into buttered 9x13 pan.
05 - Scatter marshmallows over the top.
06 - Pop in oven at 350°F for about 25-35 minutes.
07 - Look for when marshmallows turn golden.

01 - You can make the potato mix a day ahead.
02 - Don't let marshmallows burn.
03 - Fresh sweet potatoes taste better than canned.
04 - Great side for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.
