01 -
Get your oven nice and hot at 400°F (200°C) before you start the cooking part.
02 -
Slice the pears down the middle and dig out the middle bits with seeds. Put them face-up in your skillet or dish.
03 -
Splash a bit of olive oil on the pear halves and add a pinch of salt and pepper. Then flip them over so they're facing down.
04 -
Stick the skillet in the oven for about 15 minutes so the pears get soft and sweet.
05 -
Take out your pears and turn them face-up again. Pack each one with blue cheese chunks, walnut pieces, and thyme leaves.
06 -
Pop them back in the oven for 8-10 more minutes until the cheese starts getting gooey and mixes with the nuts and herbs.
07 -
Mix your honey with the Aleppo pepper in a little bowl until it's all combined into a sweet and spicy sauce.
08 -
When your pears look golden and smell amazing, move them to plates. Pour some spicy honey over each one and sprinkle with fancy salt and extra thyme if you want. Dig in!.
