Creamy Chicken Rice Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 1/2 cups plain white long grain rice.
02 - 2 cans condensed cream soup (chicken or mushroom).
03 - 1 cup regular water.
04 - 2 cups fresh milk.
05 - 1 packet dry onion soup mix.
06 - 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar.
07 - 3 chunky chicken breasts without skin or bones.
08 - Salt and pepper as needed.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up your oven to 350°F first, then grab a 9x13 inch pan and coat it with cooking spray.
02 - In a big bowl, stir together your rice, condensed soups, water, milk, and the onion soup packet until everything's blended well.
03 - Dump the rice mix into your greased dish and smooth it out flat on the bottom.
04 - Toss half your grated cheddar on top of the rice mix, making sure it's spread all over.
05 - Push the chicken breasts into the rice mixture so they're partially sunk in.
06 - Wrap the dish tightly with foil, making sure there aren't any open spots around the edges.
07 - Stick it in your hot oven for about 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, until you can tell the rice is soft.
08 - Poke the chicken to make sure it's fully cooked with no pinkish parts left.
09 - Take off the foil and scatter the rest of your cheese across the top.
10 - Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before you dig in so it gets just the right thickness.
11 - Dish it up hot with some green veggies or a simple salad on the side.

# Notes:

01 - You can make it earlier in the day.
02 - Stores well in the freezer.
03 - Feel free to toss in veggies.
04 - Perfect for feeding the whole crew.
