Cheesy Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium onion, chopped up.
02 - 1 lb of sausage (Italian style).
03 - 3 minced garlic cloves.
04 - 1 can of diced tomatoes (14.5 oz).
05 - ½ cup Parmesan, shredded.
06 - 4 cups broth (chicken).
07 - 1 tsp Italian seasoning (dried).
08 - 1 lb uncooked penne.
09 - 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded.
10 - Salt and pepper, as needed.
11 - 1 cup cherry tomatoes, optional.
12 - 2 cups spinach, fresh, optional.

# Instructions:

01 - Get the sausage sliced, onion diced, garlic minced, and everything else measured out.
02 - In a big pan on medium-high heat, cook the sausage till it gets browned.
03 - Toss garlic and onion into the pan. Stir and cook until they’re soft and smell amazing.
04 - Pour in broth, add penne and canned tomatoes to the pot.
05 - Crank up the heat till it boils, then lower to a simmer. Cook pasta so it’s tender, and the liquid’s mostly soaked in.
06 - Mix in cheese till it melts nicely. Add salt and pepper last.

# Notes:

01 - Keep stirring so pasta doesn’t stick at the bottom.
02 - If it gets too thick, throw in a splash of milk.
