Warm Quarter Cheese Spread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 cup finely chopped and toasted pecans.
02 - 1 clove garlic, minced into tiny bits.
03 - 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon spicy mustard, brown.
05 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
06 - 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar.
07 - 2 tablespoons onion, grated.
08 - Sturdy crackers to scoop and serve.
09 - 1/4 cup butter, cut into small cubes.

# Instructions:

01 - Blend cream cheese, onion, and garlic together in a smaller bowl until it’s nice and smooth. On a plate, form it into a circle about 6 inches in diameter. Wrap it tightly with plastic and refrigerate for at least an hour. When you're ready, let it sit out a bit to warm up before adding the pecan topping.
02 - Melt butter in a little saucepan over medium heat, mixing in the brown sugar, Worcestershire, and mustard. Stir until the sugar’s dissolved, which takes about 2-3 minutes. Take it off the stove and stir in the pecans.
03 - Give it a couple of minutes to cool. Pour the buttery pecan mix right on top of the cheese, letting it drip down the sides.
04 - Serve it right away with crackers and dig in.

# Notes:

01 - Make your cheese base ahead and save time.
02 - Pour warmed pecan topping on just before serving for best results.
