Grab parchment paper and line a square 8x8 baking pan.

On low heat, stir together chocolate, milk, butter, salt, and vanilla in a sturdy pot. Keep it steady for about 5-7 minutes until silky smooth. Don’t rush or let it scorch.

Remove from the heat and add black dye until it looks as dark as coal.

Pour into your pan and, if you'd like, toss on those sprinkles.

Leave it to cool, then cover loosely and stick it in the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight.

Use the parchment to lift it out and chop into 1-inch pieces.
