Coal Candy Fudge (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt.
02 - 14 oz of sweetened condensed milk.
03 - 2 teaspoons of black food gel.
04 - About 3 cups of white chocolate chips.
05 - Optional: black or silver shiny sprinkles.
06 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
07 - 2 tablespoons melted butter.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab parchment paper and line a square 8x8 baking pan.
02 - On low heat, stir together chocolate, milk, butter, salt, and vanilla in a sturdy pot. Keep it steady for about 5-7 minutes until silky smooth. Don’t rush or let it scorch.
03 - Remove from the heat and add black dye until it looks as dark as coal.
04 - Pour into your pan and, if you'd like, toss on those sprinkles.
05 - Leave it to cool, then cover loosely and stick it in the fridge for at least 8 hours or overnight.
06 - Use the parchment to lift it out and chop into 1-inch pieces.

# Notes:

01 - Using darker chocolate requires less black color.
02 - Cooking times can vary depending on the milk brand.
03 - Fudge that’s too soft can be heated again to fix it.
