Almond Date Bars Coconut (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup (140 g) Marcona almonds
02 - 1 1/4 cups (225 g) whole pitted dates (approximately 15)
03 - 3/4 cup (56 g) dried apples
04 - 1/4 cup (18 g) sweetened coconut flakes
05 - 1 tablespoon (21 g) honey
06 - 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
07 - 3/4 cup (18 g) crispy rice cereal

# Instructions:

01 - Combine Marcona almonds, whole pitted dates, dried apples, sweetened coconut flakes, honey, and kosher salt in the bowl of a food processor. Process until the mixture is finely chopped and cohesive.
02 - Add crispy rice cereal to the processed mixture. Pulse several times just until combined to retain cereal texture.
03 - Press the prepared mixture into the base of an 8-inch (20 cm) square glass or ceramic baking dish coated with cooking spray. Use a spatula or hand to create an even, compact layer.
04 - Slice the mixture evenly into 12 bars using a sharp knife.
