Honey Garlic Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
02 - 1 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1 tablespoon butter.
04 - 1 pound chicken thighs or breast, cut into chunks.
05 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce.
06 - 1/4 cup chicken broth.
07 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar.
08 - 3 tablespoons cornstarch.
09 - 5 tablespoons honey.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes.
11 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic.
12 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up your air fryer to 350°F. Let it run for 5 minutes.
02 - Toss the chicken with salt, black pepper, cornstarch, and a teaspoon of soy sauce.
03 - Coat the air fryer basket lightly with cooking oil, then lay chicken pieces in a single layer.
04 - Cook chicken for 5 minutes, turn the pieces, and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
05 - Stir together honey, rice vinegar, broth, soy sauce, and chili flakes.
06 - Melt some butter in a pan, then sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds.
07 - Add the sauce blend into the pan and let it simmer until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
08 - Coat the cooked chicken in the warm sauce until well covered.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure the chicken hits 165°F internally.
02 - Avoid using store-bought oil sprays.
03 - Want more heat? Add extra chili flakes.
04 - This also works for larger cuts of chicken.
